For years, SportsCenter has featured incredible plays on-air from young, amateur athletes. But as newer sports highlight channels and social accounts continued to rise in popularity, SportsCenter now needed to create new relevance among an entirely new generation.
Concepted by Austin agency Preacher and executed by Sarah Kerry and her team of producers and vendors, Home of SportsCenter Top 10, was born. A nationwide tour that brought the bright lights of SportsCenter to ten young athletes in ten towns across America—rallying local communities and creating iconic memorials to their hometowns.
These local installations led to ESPN’s first ever “SportsCenter Top 10 Day” on 10.10, a live broadcast celebration hosted on ESPN honoring those athletes across the nation.
Because of the success of the campaign Home of SportsCenter Top 10 continues on as a year-round program aimed at continually welcoming new athletes into the Top 10 club and engaging an entirely new generation of fans.
