To promote Bumbles safe approach to dating we worked with Preacher to create a campaign which showcased the apps “Photo Verification” feature.
With the premise that “Catfish Just Got Served” we designed and built a fully-wrapped custom airstream trailer, which appeared at various lunch locations across NYC. We invited passers by to download the app and take a verified photo, rewarding them with a catfish sandwich served by celebrity NY chef Sam Talbot. The trailer featured fun merchandise and design pieces, from a neon catfish which acted as a beacon to inquisitive daters, to pins, badges and specially designed food packaging.
Key press were sent their invitation in a bright yellow tackle box, designed and made in-house. Inside were custom lures, shirts, caps, pins and stickers, plus a truck schedule so they could stop by and join us for lunch. The event was also promoted with teaser bill posters placed around the city and via an in-app invitation to existing Bumble users.
